I have a 1942 Epiphone Olympic which I inherited from my Dad. He bought at the end of the war from an american sailor for a pair of boots and a fiver. It has been repaired because a double bass fell on it and cracked the upper bout. Still plays well and has a fantastic tone. My main 6 string is an Epiphone Sheraton II in Tobaco Burst. I also have a couple of nylon strung acoustics as well. I also have an EKO bass which I bought for £25 in the 70's and was my only bass for a long time until my good lady bought me a Mexican Jazz Bass for my birthday in 2000. My original bass purchased in 1962 was a Rickenbacker 4001 in Fireglow. Got married in 1968, needed to pay some bills and the only thing of any value was the Ricky so I sold it for £70 (paid £150). This is my one great regret in my life, wish I still had it. (Haven't got the wife anymore either, my good lady above is Carole my partner who also has some guitars: - Red Mexican Strat, Blue Yamaha 303-12, Blue Jim Harley acoustic and a Red SG copy. She also has two drum kits, one Aria acoustic kit and a Yamaha electric kit, set up back to back in the lounge. Am I a lucky chap or what finding a woman with similar interests .

Sounds like you have a lot of cool gear, nice to share your music with your wife. I get confined to the spare room
